AsianDendro 2019 - The 6th Asian Dendrochronology Conference was held on November 24-30, 2019 in the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences in Lucknow, India. A total of 82 abstracts were contributed by tree-ring researchers the world over and 62 researchers (26 students and 36 profes- sionals) attended the conference in which 23 participants (11 students and 12 professionals) were from India. The international participants were from Bhutan, China, Germany, Iran, Japan, Nepal, Poland, Russia, Switzerland and Thailand. This conference covers 13 technical sessions, including the session of “Wood Anatomy: the inside story of wood for Dendrochronology”. Dr. Eryuan Liang was invited to give a keynote talk “Alpine treelines on the Tibetan Plateau: an integrative understanding from xylogenesis to ecosystem”. AsianDendro 2020 - The 7th Asian Dendrochronology Conference was decided to be held in Zhuhai, China in 2021.
