Welcome to join in the upcoming international conference ICWSE 2025, which is intended to bring together professionals from universities and industry, to present and discuss the most recent advances in wood science and engineering, to stimulate technical and scientific innovations on sustainable development of designing and manufacturing wood products, and to provide a focus for the exchange of latest ideas on wood products engineering and circular economy in the wood sector.

The event will be hosted by the "Transylvania" University of Brasov (Romania), Faculty of Furniture Design and Wood Engineering, and it will be held between 6-8 November 2025, at the Aula of the "Transylvania" University of Brasov.

The participation to the conference with a scientific presentation is conditioned by the acceptance of a short summary of your research, provided within the Pre-Registration Form. All persons who wish to attend the conference (with or without presentation) must fill in the Pre-Registration Form.

Participants can choose freely if they just wish to give a presentation at the conference without submitting a full paper, or if they wish to have their paper(s) published. Three scientific journals, which act as ICWSE 2025 partners with special issues dedicated to this event, are available: Applied Sciences, Bulletin of the "Transylvania" University of Brasov, and PRO LIGNO. Details can be found under the heading "Paper Publishing". The publishing acceptance will be based on the result of a peer-review process.

All papers registered at the conference will be included through an extended abstract in the Conference Book of Abstracts. A participant may be the first author of maximum two papers.
